Wedding Lough Rynn Castle

24/04/2026

Tara and Calum's wedding was exceptional! Two good people to be around.....warm, amiable, approachable and you just feed off their positive energy (and that of their friends too)!! Their happiness was infectious....not afraid to go up and give Tara a hug on wedding morning....she's just a delightful person! Preparations for both Tara & Calum were in the Lodges on the hotel grounds so it was great to be able to cover both of them on wedding morning. The positive vibes were evident from the moment you were in the company of the groomsmen, or the bridesmaids on wedding morning. Loads of banter, story telling (you'd swear the lads were about to go for a round of golf for example as opposed to a wedding ceremony) and the girls were giddy in a good way while hair and make up was being carried out!
The ceremony took place at St. Patrick's Church in Mohill. The church was warm and welcoming. Family and friends gathered to share in Tara and Calum's vows. There were smiles, laughter, and a few happy tears with several beautiful moments.
After the ceremony, we returned to Lough Rynn Castle. The spring weather was lovely. We took advantage of the sunshine for an outdoor photoshoot. Tara & Calum used the gardens of the castle and then their bridal party joined us out the rear of the venue for a group photoshoot....again plenty of good vibes adding to a real party feeling for this. I also thorughly enjoyed some of Tara's friends coming out the back for some images too....we had fun.....and if my wife saw some of the positions I took up for some of the photos...well, questions would be asked!!!
As evening approached, guests sat down for a delightful dinner. The atmosphere was filled with cheer. After the meal, guests gathered outside with sparklers in hand. The glow lit up the night. The smiles were bright as they celebrated this special moment.
Music filled the air, thanks to The Experts wedding band. They created an exciting energy......and the floor was hopping! Tara and Calum's wedding was a day to remember.....I'd strongly urge any of their friends that are getting married in the near future to chat with them.....you'd learn a lot from them about their frame of mind and indeed how to enjoy your wedding day.....I think it's safe to say that all suppliers that were working for them would've found them the best people to be around...and the photos show how much they seemed to enjoy themselves too!!
Wishing you both a lifetime of health and happiness Tara & Calum and thanks for trusting me with your wedding photography!
